The radar level meter antenna using PFA material,PFA plastic is a copolymer of a small amount of perfluoropropyl polytetrafluoroethylene. The melting cohesiveness is enhanced and the viscosity of the solution is decreased, while the properties are unchanged compared with that of PTFE. The resin can be directly processed by ordinary thermoplastic molding. Suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts, wear resistant parts, sealing parts, insulating parts and medical instrument parts.
Radar Level Meter Measuring principle
The radar level antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse and transmits it down through the antenna. After the pulse touches the surface of the medium being measured, it is reflected back and accepted by the antenna system again, transmitting the signal to the electronic circuit part automatically converted into a object position signal(because the pulse propagation speed is extremely fast, The time it takes for electromagnetic waves to reach the target and reflect back to the receiver is almost instantaneous.)
Radar Level Meter Design features
The antenna is small in size and easy to install; Non-contact radar, no wear, no pollution.
Almost not affected by corrosion and foam; It is almost unaffected by changes in water vapor, temperature and pressure in the atmosphere.
Serious dust environment has little influence on the work of high frequency level meter.
Shorter wavelength and better reflection on inclined solid surface.
The beam angle is small and the energy is concentrated, which enhances the echo capability and is beneficial to avoiding interfering objects.
The blind area of measurement is smaller, and good results can be obtained for small tank measurement.
High signal-to-noise ratio enables better performance even under fluctuating conditions.
High frequency is the best choice for measuring solid and low dielectric constant media.
