NYSP-M16 RF Admittance Level Meter Working Principle

RF admittance level meter is a continuous level measurement product based on RF admittance principle. The product has the advantages of high stability, high sensitivity and wide application. Compared with the traditional capacitive level meter, the modular design can be used to set the instrument simply and conveniently. Once the setting is completed, it can be used normally and free of maintenance for life. It enables users to intuitively understand the operation of the equipment and timely deal with problems. It is also safe and reliable in complex industrial occasions.

RF admittance measurement technology is a material level measurement technology with unique advantages. Although the concept is very similar to that of general capacitive measurement technology, RF admittance technology adds Driving Shield circuit and chopper circuit to the electronic unit, so it can realize independent measurement of impedance and capacitive reactance. According to the calculation of physical laws, the impedance and capacitive reactance of any hanging material are equal, so the influence caused by hanging material can be measured and eliminated from the total output through the phase shifting of the oscillating circuit.

The probe of the RF admittance level meter is installed in the storage tank, and the change of RF signal caused by the change of material level is obtained through the probe. The Driving Shield end of the probe can prevent the RF current from forming a loop through the hanging material, ensuring the accuracy of the instrument measurement.
