Working Principle of Tuning Fork Density Meter

The sensor works based on the vibration principle of the component part, which is the tuning fork part immersed in the liquid under test. The tuning fork part vibrates through an internal piezoelectric device fixed to the bottom end of the fork body. The oscillation frequency is measured by a secondary piezoelectric device fixed at the other end of the fork, and the signal is amplified by a circuit at the top. The liquid density is closely related to the vibration frequency of the liquid under measurement. When the density of the liquid under measurement changes, the vibration frequency of the liquid under measurement also changes. Through the equation, the density of the liquid under test can be accurately calculated
