Ultrasonic Level Transmitter
Ultrasonic level meter is a digital level meter controlled by microprocessor. In the measurement of ultrasonic pulse made by sensor (transducer), sound waves after the liquid surface reflection by the same sensor receiving, by piezoelectric crystal is converted into electrical signals, and by sound waves between transmitting and receiving time to calculate the sensor to the measured distance on the surface of the liquid. Ultrasonic Level Transmitter Installation Principle
The blind spot of ultrasonic level meter must be considered when installing ultrasonic level meter. When the liquid level into the blind area, ultrasonic level meter can not measure the liquid level, so when determining the range of ultrasonic level meter, must set aside 50 cm margin, installation, the probe must be about 50 cm higher than the highest level. In this way, we can ensure the accurate monitoring of liquid level and the safety of ultrasonic level meter.
In actual use, because of improper installation, the level gauge was completely submerged by water, resulting in complete damage to the level gauge, so it is necessary to consider the highest level value of the measured liquid.
Machinery installation should be paid attention to: when installation should be perpendicular to the test surface, avoid used for measuring the foam properties of objects, avoid installed on distance measuring surface distance is less than the blind area distance (blind spot: each product will have a standard, along with the product), beam should be considered to avoid blocking material does not meet with irrigation and vessel wall, detection of bulk solids should adjust the probe position, reduce the error of measurement.
